Dee “The Hitman” Ford (Auburn University / Linebacker / 6’2 250 / 4.5 forty) played like a man possessed for the Auburn Tigers in 2013.  He is a character guy who is coming forth from the shadows.  Ford plays every game like its thanksgiving by stuffing ball carrier after ball carrier and specializing in basting the quarterback.

Ford is an outstanding leader but it is his athleticism and pure pass-rushing abilities that set him apart.  He has the ability to rush from a multitude of spots and be effective in all of them.  He can speed rush, bull rush, dip and rip moves.

Passion, instincts, tenacity, nastiness and competitiveness are words that describe Dee “The Hitman” Ford.  Ford is a game-changing, one man wrecking crew, who will be the most feared pass rusher in the NFL- best since Derrick Thomas!

Derrick Thomas was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1989 and played 11-years and is in the NFL Hall of Fame.  He finished his career with 127 sacks, and still holds the single game NFL record of SEVEN quarterback sacks!

Dee “The Hitman” Ford plays sideline to sideline and he will chase you to the end of the earth!  Very explosive hitter!  He will simply ‘Uncoil’ on you.  Mean.  He looks to TWIST your ‘Bottle Cap’ Back!  He loves to play the game and his best football is ahead of him.

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently have three Outside Linebackers on their roster who were high round draft picks:  LaMarr Woodley, Jason Worilds and Jarvis Jones.

Jarvis Jones, is a very physical player but lacks the foot speed to play right outside linebacker in the NFL.  He may be a candidate to move inside to middle linebacker.  Jason Worilds had a good season in 2013 and is a free-agent so his price on the open market will be close to 10 million per year.  If the Steelers move Jones inside and lose either Woodley of Worilds….they might be forced into drafting another outside backer.

The Denver Broncos proved in the Superbowl that Offense is for SHOW and defense is for DOUGH!  Ford is 250-pounds and looks like a crossbreed between a PIT BULL and Shrek! He is truly a combination of Dominance and Destruction between the whistles.

Losing the National Championship game sent Ford back to the drawing board and filled him with a level of obsessive vengeance that consumes his every waking moment.  This kid is destined to be a great player.  And if Smokin’ Jim tells you there is CAVIAR in the Mountains, you just bring the CRACKERS!
