History of the Slick Move Guide

The soul of the seed was planted in 2007 when the writing began. Experience plus much research was being compiled into an easy to read guide for those who were planning to relocate. The seed completely blossomed in 2008 when the Slick Move Guide Secrets You Need to Know If You Are Moving was released to the public and displayed on Amazon.com.  The descriptive bullets and vibrant cover were definitely a plus. Sales were a little slow at first but with social media on the rise the concept was taking off. In 2010, the interest was secured with steady daily sales. Corporations, moving companies, real estate agents and even sports teams were all using the guide.

In 2011, the production of the Slick Move Guide Professional Athlete Edition was underway with the input and support of many player development directors and other sports professionals.  This customized edition for athletes and those relocating quickly for their career was released in 2012.

The consistent sales have confirmed that the guide is the preferred choice for those who are relocating!

I am very happy to announce, this month, the release of the 3rd edition, the Slick Move Guide Latest Edition, an updated version of the original Slick Move Guide. This consumer written, easy to read, informative moving guide, that can save a mover hundreds of dollars, is now loaded with even more helpful information. Detailed content has been added primarily in the “Determining a good prospect” section to better assist readers with choosing a quality mover and protect them from moving fraud.  A comparison of moving yourself and having a moving company relocate your household goods has been added as well as the benefits of moving in the winter months. The original guide has been tested for competency and changes have been made in determined areas to help the reader understand the information more easily. A section has been added on how to handle the emotional side of moving and staying in touch with family and friends. Some editorial revisions have also been made to the new version.

Just as the original, this guide offers great packing advice, and will educate the mover on how to protect their household goods, choose a quality mover, and avoid those infamous mistakes and much more. With a spiral binding, it acts as a workbook and the stress reducing timeline in the end of the book is one of the best features providing blank lines for customizing your to do list. It is used by companies, home builders, real estate agents, schools, and sports teams and leagues in America. It is a well-established concept!
