Best defense is a GREAT OFFENSE ……… Steelers should take future Pro Bowl receiver in round four  – By Smokin’ Jim Frazier      Donatella Luckett (6’0 ft 210 lbs Harding University) is smooth as a Pearl!  He is the Cal Ripkin of catching passes. He hasn’t missed one yet! Luckett has world class sprinter speed. Runs a legitimate 4.29 forty! He is not ordinary receiver and is unique as his name.      Donatella Luckett is the most aggressive wide receiver you will ever come across. He has great endurance and stamina.  He tests among the top in each category, in college, for division II Harding University football team in Arkansas. He developed great endurance in college where he was an indoor and outdoor track All-American. Luckett is a great example to all young people that a NFL dream or an NBA dream or a Major League Baseball is far from an impossible dream.      The Pittsburgh Steelers would be smart to keep the revolving door moving at the wide-receiver position. The team has done an outstanding job at drafting good receivers and replacing them before having to shell out the big bucks. Plaxico Burress, Antwaan Randle El, Santonio Holmes, Nate Washington, Mike Wallace and Emmanuel Sanders were all productive number two receivers in Steel town, but never received a second contract. The big money contracts only went to future Hall of Fame receivers Hines Ward and Antonio Brown.  The receivers have been interchangeable parts and the Black and Gold would be smart to draft Donatella Luckett in the 4th round.  Groom him for a year and in 2016 he can replace Markus Wheaton.

Top Receivers in the 2015 draft:

  1. Kevin White             6’3 210     WVU
  2. Donatella Luckett     6’0 210     Harding University
  3.  Amari Cooper           6’1 210     Alabama
  4.  DeVante Parker        6’3 205     Louisville
  5. Dorial Green-Beckham 6’5 240  Oklahoma
